Founded in 1995, the primary goal of Burgess Commercial Interiors was to establish a dealership that offers a more "hands on", consultative approach in responding to its customers' furniture needs. As a company based upon response, we are determined to provide products that meet or exceed the quality, functional and aesthetic needs of each individual customer, within their respective budget.

 

This approach is reflective of its founder and principle, Jim Burgess, who has more than 30 years experience in the related fields of interior design and the contract furniture industry. Mr. Burgess' career began in Florida where he served as Director of Interior Design and Director of Interior Architecture for major design firms before he was recruited to the Birmingham area. Additionally, Mr. Burgess served as adjunct professor for upper level studio design courses at Florida State University, where he holds a masters degree in Interior Design.
